Funeral services for Cleta Faye (Redmon) Murphy, 56, of Smithville were held Nov. 10 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.

 

Bro. Dwayne Cornelius officiated with burial following in Young Bend Cemetery.

 

She passed away Nov. 6 at St. Thomas Mid-Town Hospital.

 

She was affiliated with the New Life Pentecostal Church and a homemaker.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Everett “Ebb” Redmon; husband, Michael Murphy; sister, Annie Rhea Johnson.

 

She is survived by a daughter, Camillia and Nicholas Ramsey of Dowelltown; parents, Ernestine and Eddie Young of Smithville; four grandchildren, Kaydence Johnson, Zoie and Raylie Ashburn, and Faith Knowles; four brothers, Tommy and Glenda Redmon, Noel and Sabra Redmon, both of Smithville, Ronnie Sr. and Judy Redmon of Dowelltown, and Eddie Young Jr. of Cookeville; two sisters, Angela and Ricky Knowles of Smithville, and Sherry and Alonzo Harris of VA; Nieces and nephews, Eric Morris, Trista Johnson, Avionda Harris, Patty Hale, Joey Redmon, Ronnie Redmon Jr., Randy Johnson, Makayla Redmon, Joshua Johnson, Amy Ferrell, and Ashmika Earl; 19 great-nieces and nephews also survive.

 

Pallbearers included; Ronnie Redmon Jr., Joey Redmon, Jeremy Ashburn, Josh Johnson, Randy Johnson, Dillion Knowles, and Steven Ferrell.
