Funeral services for Cleta Jo Cantrell Horn, 70, of Smithville were held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Glen Chapman officiated with burial following in Mt. Ararat Cemetery. She passed away Wednesday, March 30 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. She was affiliated with the Pentecostal Church, a self-employed caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Horn; father of her children, Roy Donald Murphy; parents, Gentry Cantrell and Velvo Arnold Thrasher; son, Darrell Wayne Murphy; grandson, Jerry Lee Estes; three brothers, Eddie, Albert and Thomas Cantrell; six sisters, Christine Todd, Betty Vanzny, Imogene Crook, Dorothy Roman, Sue Chapman Sanders, and Freda Hobbs. She is survived by three daughters, Diane and Richard Ervin of Smithville, Joann and Teddy Johnson of Liberty and Darlene Jackson of Smithville; one son, David Turner of Smithville; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
