Funeral services for Clifford Jackson Trapp, 87, of Sparta, were held Nov. 23 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Virgil Hibdon Jr. officiated with burial following in Corinth Cemetery.   
Mr. Trapp passed away Nov. 22 at Sparta Community Hospital. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Terry and Avo Ellender Pedigo Trapp; wife, Meadie Carter Trapp; four sisters, Clella Petty, Claudia Emberton, Cecil Billings and Clara Trapp; four brothers, Clarence, Clyde, Clester and Charlie Trapp.
Survivors include his daughter, Glinda and Clarence Todd, of Sparta; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Joel and Randy Moore, Jeff Caldwell, Johnny Trapp, Rick Hawkins and Marty Tallent.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
