Funeral services for Anna Mai King Crowder, 99, of Alexandria were held Sept. 4 at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home. Dr. John Tidwell officiated, with burial following at Hillview Cemetery.

 

She passed away Sept. 1 at NHC Healthcare in Smithville.

 

She was a homemaker and affiliated with Upper Helton Baptist Church.

 

She was born December 4, 1914 in Wilson County. Her parents were S.T. King and Etta Malone King.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.T. Crowder; brothers and sisters; Johnnie Humphrey, Mable Ballew, Vernelle McClanahan, Clyde King, and J.W. King.

 

She was the second oldest and the last sibling left of the King family.

 

She is survived by a daughter, Elaine (Joel) Collins of Easley, South Carolina; grandchildren Jae (Jay) Beasley and Lance Collins all of Easley, South Carolina, and Major Joy Collins of Newmarket, England; great-grandchild, Katherine Elaine Beasley, of Easley, South Carolina; nieces and nephews, Rochelle (Mark) Gray of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Mike (Dee) Humphrey of Russellville, Arizona, Tim (Julie) King of Belton, Missouri, and Kerry (Sarah) King of Raymore, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Jewell King of Brush Creek, and Juanita King of Raymore, Missouri.

 

Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, was in charge of the arrangements
