Funeral services for David Ray Bly, 55, of Carthage were held March 6 at Hunter Funeral Home. Spencer Anderson and William Phillips officiated, with burial following at Bates Cemetery.
He passed away March 4 at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage.
David was the son of the late Odell and Bunie Bates Bly.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ruth Powell Bly of Carthage; children, Brandon Ray Powell of Carthage, Chris Ray (Maria) Bly of Gallatin, Terry Paul (Mandy) Bly of Lebanon, Kenny Wayne Bly of Smithville, Kevin Matthew (Elizabeth) Bly of Alexandria; stepson, Samuel Jackson Forrester of Carthage; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Ricky Bly of Liberty; sister, Shirley (David) Ray of Alexandria; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Hunter Funeral Home, Watertown, was in charge of arrangements.
