Don Carlos Ashburn, Jr, 87, of Smithville passed away Wednesday, July 11at his residence. He was a farmer and a member of the Smithville Church of Christ and a veteran of the United States Navy having served in Korea. Mr. Ashburn was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie Carr and Don Carlos Ashburn, Sr. and granddaughter, Leslie Ashburn Houchin.
