Funeral services for Donald Franklin Evans, 55, of Alexandria, were held Feb. 28 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Donald Owens, Bro. Dwayne Cornelius and Bro. Jackie Gaddes officiated with burial following in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.    
Mr. Evans passed away Feb. 25 at DeKalb Community Hospital emergency room. He was disabled and a member of Country Side Baptist Church.  
He was preceded in death by his father, Bro. John Evans, and son, Thomas Michael Evans.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Evans of Alexandria; four children, John Michael (Mandy) Evans and Amy (Drake) Ricard, both of Franklin, Ky., David Glen (Crissy) Evans of Dowelltown and Ashley (Matt) Buchanan of Smithville; nine grandchildren; mother, Bessie Evans of Murfreesboro; and a brother, Nathan Dean (Kathy) Evans of California.
Pallbearers included David Richter, Steve Holliman, Andrew Peacy, Drake Richard, Matt Buchanan, Mark Hunt and Hunter Buchanan.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
