Mrs. Dorothy Evelyn Ervin age 78 of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday November 19, 2016, at Alive Hospice at TriStar Skyline in Madison, TN.

She was born April 12, 1938, in Silver Point, TN, was a former bookkeeper for Bouldin & Lawson, and was a member of Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Pentecostal Church.

Mrs. Ervin was preceded in death by parents Silas and Dorothy Alene Carter Harris and husband Glenn W. Ervin.

Survivors include her sons Charles E. Ervin and wife Cynthia and G. Edward Ervin, and grandchildren Edward Wilson Ervin, Anna Elisabeth Ervin, Olivia Jane Ervin, and Mary Alice Ervin. Other family members and friends also survive.

Funeral service were held Tuesday, November 22, 2016, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Daniel Stirnemann, Bro. Freeman Frothingham, and Bro. Ernest J. Cantrell will officiated. Interment followed at DeKalb Memorial Gardens in Smithville, TN.

McMinnville Funeral Home, was in charge of the arrangements.
