Nardone

Dorothy Jane Nardone, age 66, of Smithville and a native of Florida, passed away Wednesday morning, August 8, 2018 at her residence.

She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Anastasia Catholic Church.

She was born January 24, 1952 to her parents, the late, William Poppell and Jennie Randolph.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Alice Bailey, Jimmy Ray and Elizabeth Ray.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, William Morris of Port St. Lucie, FL; two daughters, Michele Nardone and Rosina Nardone both of Smithville; three grandchildren, Jonathan (Ashley) Morris, Giavanti Nardone, Marlee Nardone; two great-grandchildren, Colton and Owen Morris; eight siblings, Shirley Engman, Betty Dupree, Kenneth Ray, Bobby Ray, Pat Crowe, Mona Lincoln, Debbie Dugan and Billy Poppell.

The family has honored Ms. Dorothy's request to be cremated and no was held.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
