Ray

Dr. Gregory Ernest Ray, age 52, of Clarksville, formerly of Smithville, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.

He was an Optometrist and a member of the Hilldale Baptist Church in Clarksville.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Odom Ray of Clarksville; children, Nicholas Odom Ray and Allie Jane Ray of Clarksville; and parents, Ernest and Elene Ray of Adams.

Funeral service was held Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Dr. Larry Robertson and Bro. Darrell Cantrell officiated and burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Parsley, Greg Bradford, Mickey Hall, Randall Duke, John Brooks and Mark Williams.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
