Funeral services for Ella Mae Harness, 86, of Smithville, were held Dec. 14 at Jarnigans Chapel Baptist Church in Clinton. Bro. Eddie Bridges and Bro. Freddie Bean officiated with burial following in Jarnigans Chapel Cemetery in Clinton.   
Mrs. Harness passed away Dec. 11 at her residence in Smithville. She was a homemaker and was a Baptist by faith. 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Luther Harness; parents, William and Martha Brummett Huckaby; two sisters, Fannie Galbreath and Marie Bean; two brothers, Walker and Ervin Huckaby.
Survivors include her seven sons, Levi Harness, of Smithville, Howard Harness, of Smithville, Lynn Harness, of Michigan, Curtis Harness, of Smithville, Gary Harness, of Michigan, Kenneth Harness, of Smithville, and James Harness; a daughter, Patsy Raudenbush, of Pennsylvania; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
