Bayne

Etta Frances Vanatta Bayne, age 93, formerly of Watertown, died Tuesday evening, May 24 at The Pavilion in Lebanon.

She was born Aug. 4, 1922 in Alexandria, daughter of the late Dolphin Vanatta and Jennie Mai Crowder Vanatta, and was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Dee Bayne and a son, R.D. Bayne.

Frances was a wife, mother and homemaker, and worked several years in garment manufacturing. She was a member of Adams Ave. Church of Christ.

Frances is survived by her son Van Eddie Bayne and wife, Janet of Lebanon; grandchildren, Crystal (Craig) Parisher of Mt. Juliet, Rodger Derek "R.D." Bayne of Murfreesboro, Jacquelyne (Matt) Swallows and Jennifer Bayne both of Lebanon; great grandchildren, Jordan and Grace Bayne and Alexis Swallows; sister-in-law, Lucy Slager.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Hunter Funeral Home.

Pallbearers, R.D. Bayne, Jordan Bayne, Craig Parisher, Matt Swallows, Marvin and Dwayne Willoughby. Interment at Hillview Cemetery, Alexandria, TN.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at The Pavilion and Gentiva Hospice for all their love and care.

Hunter Funeral Home, Watertown was in charge of the arrangements.
