Herman
Ewin L. Herman, age 83, of Liberty passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Northside Healthcare in Murfreesboro.
He was a Baptist, a Korean War veteran of the US Navy, and a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jep and Willie Taylor Herman; a daughter, Judy Carol Walker Womack; and two sisters, Bertie Lee Bogle and Dean Murphy; and two infant brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, Vicky Murdock of Murfreesboro. A son, Jerry and Murinna Herman of Liberty. Five grandchildren, Aaron and Keri Walker of Tullahoma, Leslie and Zane McKee of Lascassas, Olivia and Matt Melton of Watertown, Chris Tate of Murfreesboro, and Jessica and Patrick Baine of Lavergne and five great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Liberty. Leonard Herman officiated and with burial in the Mount Moriah Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Cody Fish, Ralph Bogle, Luke Murphy, Aaron Walker, Matt Melton and Patrick Baine.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
