Ms. Faye Pack West James, age 76, of Smithville passed away Monday night, February 3, 2020 at her daughters residence.
Ms. James was born on March 8, 1943 to her parents the late Harrison "Spur" and Omega Pack West. She was a member of the Smithville United Methodist Church and was part of the Women's Bible study at the First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donny James and her parents, Harrison "Spur" and Omega West; and two brothers, Ronnie West and Eddie West.
Survivors include her four children, Jeff James of Smithville, Kevin (Robin) James of Cookeville, Westley (Carole) James of Mt. Juliet, and Amy (Dr. Kevin) Rhody of Smithville; six grandchildren, Kristen (Joseph) Reeves of Cookeville, Grant (Taylor) James of Cookeville, Adam James of Mt. Juliet, Hannah James of Mt. Juliet, Alex Rhody of Smithville, and Rachel Rhody Smithville; two great grandchildren, Lucy Reeves and Harrison James both of Cookeville; sister, Jennifer West of Smithville. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Terry Little officiated and burial followed at Mt. Holly Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Dr. Hugh Don Cripps, Freddy Colvert, Earl Blair, Chris Cantrell, Bo Braswell and Keith Blair. The Ladies’ Tuesday Morning Bible Study served as honorary pallbearers.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
