Funeral services for Annetta Bratten Fite, 94, of Liberty were held August 9 at Salem Baptist Church.

Bro. Don Mathis and Bro. Steven Grubbs officiated, with burial following in Salem Cemetery.

She passed away August 6 at her residence.

She was affiliated with Salem Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gertrude Spurlock Bratten; husband, Hartwell Fite; brother, Bundy Bratten; sister, Jane Bratten; grandson, Adam Hearn; great-grandson, Daniel Hamby; son-in-law, Eddie Sliger.

She is survived by five daughters, Diana Redmon of Murfreesboro, Mary Jane and Jack Brown of Liberty, Betty Carol Fite of Nashville, Kathy and Ben Hearn of Gordonsville, and Tommye Ann Sliger of Liberty; 10 grandchildren, Melanie and Butch Hamby, Jeff and Heidi Redmon all of Murfreesboro, Steven and Amanda Brown of Liberty, Mark and Galen Brown, Bradley and Cassie Brown all of Alexandria, Mary Katherine and Ben Keltner of Carthage, Brady and Morgan Hearn, John Bratten Hearn all of Gordonsville, and Thomas and Christopher Sliger of Liberty; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary and Jack Duggin of Nashville; several nieces also survive.

Pallbearers include; Jeff Redmon, Steven Brown, Mark Brown, Bradley Brown, Thomas Sliger, Christopher Sliger, Brady Hearn, and John Bratten Hearn.
