Floyd Lawrence "Lowie" Stone, Jr, age 41 of Liberty, passed away Friday evening at his residence.

He was born May 4, 1975 to his parents, Floyd Lawrence Stone, Sr. and Jenny Martin David.

Lowie was a 1993 graduate of DeKalb County High School, U.S. Marine Veteran and a truck driver.

He is survived by 4 children, Shelby Smith, Jonas, Airiana Stone and Triniti Stone; mother, Jenny David of Liberty; father, Bishop Floyd L. Stone, Sr. of Nashville; siblings, Jennifer Jordan of Murfreesboro, Tonia Adams, Monique Crawford, Chante Allen, Cicily (Billy) Searcy, Camishah Adams, Carmen Adams, Kristofher Stone, Shynithia Stone, Nicholass Stone and Marcelous Kimbro all of Nashville; 2 nephews, Nicholas Emerton and Zachary Jordan; a host of nieces, nephews and family.

Lowie's family has chosen a direct cremation and there will be a Memorial Service held at a later date which will be announced.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
