Funeral services for Mary Frances Foster, 79, of Smithville were held Oct. 10 at the Chapel of Love- Cantrell Funeral Home.

 

Bro. Roger Grissom and Sister Sue Hutchinson officiated, with burial following in Whorton Springs Cemetery.

 

She passed away Oct. 7 in Smithville.

 

She was the Pastor of Emmanuel Bread of Life.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cridner and Nancy Martin; one son, David B. Hale; one daughter, Oleda Kerr; two brothers, Aubrey Denon Martin, and George H. Martin; four sisters, Nonnie Hawkins, Cornelia Braswell, Elsie Chote, and Geneva Wooden.

 

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Lewis Foster of Smithville; two daughters, Doretta and Jerry Hutchins Sr. of Smithville and Donna Swain of Memphis, four grandchildren, Jerry and Laura Hutchins Jr of Dowelltown,, Jerretta and Terry Certain of Murfreesboro, Christian and Leslie Phillips of Illinois, and Hunter Swain of New York; seven great-grandchildren, Joel Certain of Knoxville, David Hutchins of Liberty, Katlin and Lindsey Hutchins of Dowelltown, Grace Certain of Murfreesboro, and Owen and Sean Phillips of Illinois; two special friends, Sherry Brannon and Marilyn Mashburn of Smithville; three special caregivers, Carolyn Dyer, Mina Lions, and Jessie Mashburn.

 

Pallbearers included; Hunter Swain, Chad Kirby, Deloy Kirby, David Hutchins, Jerry Hutchins Sr., Nathan Dowell, Joel Certain, and Terry Certain.

 

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements
