Frances Elaine Adcock Nunley, age 74, passed away Wednesday January 12, 2022 at her residence.
She was born August 3, 1947 to her parents the late Richard Lee and Dolly Frances Pollard Adcock. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Orvil Goodwin and Homer Nunley; brothers, Billy Ray Adcock and Lee Royce Adcock.
Ms. Nunley was a member of New Union The Baptist Church and worked in Heathcare.
She is survived by children, Orvil (Shannon) Goodwin of Rock Island, Roy Lee (Anna) Goodwin of Smithville, Susie (Jeff) Thomason of Smithville, Debra (Justin) Hill of Smithville, and Corey (Michelle) Goodwin of Sparta; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; brother Charles (Lucy) Adcock of McMinnville.
Funeral services was held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial followed in New Union Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Justin Goodwin, Bobby Goodwin, Richard Goodwin, Justin Hill, C.J. Caswell, Jeffery Womack, Drake Clouse, Blake Clouse, James Yates, John Yates, and Paydan Goodwin.
