Funeral services for Frances West Cantrell, 87, of Smithville were held Jan, 9 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Curtis Jones officiated, with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.She passed away Jan. 5 at her residence.She was a homemaker and a Methodist.She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Lillie Thweatt West; her husband, Bethel “Doc” M. Cantrell; three brothers, Cleve, Thomas, and Elzie West.She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn (Joe) Shielly of California, Pamela (Glen) Marlow of Baxter; one son, Glen (Nancy) Cantrell of Smithville; five grandchildren, Gary Stoneman, Denise Jantz, Annette “Nikki” Kellis-Shropshire, Michael Kellis, John Luther Puckett; six step grandchildren; Lisa Shoemaker, Debbie Pettit, Sandra Edison, Sharon Kotecki, Reba Jones, and Gina Nixon.Pallbearers included; Coty and Clayton Jones, Bryan, Jacob, Nathan, and Mark West, Randy and Glynn Pedigo.Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.SMITHVILLE REVIEWSmithville, TNJanuary 15, 2014
