Funeral services for Frank Ray Bratten, 91, of Liberty were held Dec. 14, at Salem Baptist Church in Liberty. Dr. Donald Hicks, Pastor of the FBC of Charlottesville, VA and Bro. Bill Northcut officiated with burial following at  Salem Cemetery.
Mr. Bratten passed away Dec. 10 at DeKalb Community Hospital.
He was retired from Ford Glass in Nashville, longtime member of First Baptist of Donelson, current member of Salem Baptist Church, proudly served in WWII in the U.S. Navy. He was a Godly man who left a Godly legacy for his family.
He was the son of the late Frank and Bobbie Gothard Bratten.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Ruth Bratten; Larry Don Bratten; brother, Tom Bratten; sister, Lavenia Bratten Mitchell.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Bratten (Donald) Hicks of Forest, VA.; grandchildren, Mathew Donald Hicks, Mark Allen Hicks, Melody Joy Hicks, Joe Don (Molly) Bratten and Mary Ann Bratten (Dwayne) Blair; former daughter-in-law, Charlotte Bratten of Readyville; great grandsons, Gabriel Blair, Abram Bratten and Braedon Jett.
Pallbearers include; JD Bratten, Mark Hicks, Dwayne Blair, Howard Reynolds, Jacob Hale and Jamie Hale.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
