Memorial services for Frank Truman Davis, 72, of Smithville, were held March 17 at Smithville First Methodist Church with Dr. John Carpenter officiating.   
Mr. Davis passed away peacefully Wednesday night, March 14, surrounded by his loving family. He was an insurance claims adjuster for over 30 years, serving for various companies and was retired for 11 years.
He graduated from Mansfield Senior High, Wooster College and the Birmingham School of Law. He sat for and passed the Alabama Bar exam. He was affiliated with the Episcopal Church and attended the Smithville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Truman and Lillian Mae Davis.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Becky Reis Davis of Smithville; two daughters, Mary and Chris Brady of Nashville and Sally and La’Mar Franklin of Smyrna; five grandchildren, Erin, Shannon and Dillon Brady, all of Nashville, and Leya and Isaiah Franklin, both of Smyrna; a sister, Kathy Davis of Nashville; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Parks of Utah and Barbara Thompson of Smithville; a brothers-in-law, Sterling “Buddy” Battle of Baxter and Bill and Enid Reis of Mansfield, Ohio; mother-in-law, Dorothy Reis of Nashville; cousin, Roberta Sporrer of Lexington, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
