Funeral services Louis Fuson, 85, of Liberty were held Feb. 1 at the Faith Congregational Methodist Church.

 

Bro. Freddie Savage and Bro. Dennis Campbell officiated, with burial following in Whorton Springs Cemetery.

 

He passed away Jan. 30 at DeKalb Community Hospital.

 

He was born April 15, 1929 in DeKalb County.

 

His parents were the late Solon Fuson and Verda Midgett Fuson.

 

He was a Founding Deacon of Faith Congregational Methodist Church, and a farmer.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jerry Fuson; daughter, Joyce Fuson; brother, Freddie Brown Fuson.

 

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Reba Driver Fuson of Liberty; children, Rebecca (James) Taylor, Layne (Darlene) Fuson, and Tracy (Stephanie) Fuson all of Liberty; grandchildren, Brian Bandy, Katina (Andy) Collier, Brandon (Brenda) Fuson, Christopher Fuson, Shane (Raven) Fuson, Quintin Fuson and Riley Fuson; great-grandchildren, Danica Collier; brother, Charles Fuson of McMinnville; sister, Darnell Fuson of McMinnville.

 

In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to the Faith Congregational Methodist Church in his memory.

 

Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria was in charge of the arrangements
