George “Junebug” Roller, Jr., age 50 of Smithville, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. He was a Baptist and a nurseryman.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Anna Morris Rigsby.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Atnip Roller of Smithville; two children, George (Abbey) Roller, III and Molly Lawrence of Smithville; three grandchildren, Aiden Lawrence, Ava Grace Roller, and Kase Bryson Roller all of Smithville; father, George “Bo” and Mary Shirley Roller of McMinnville; a brother, Victor “Hopper”  (Annette) Roller of Smithville; a sister, Lynna (David) Brittain of Shelbyville. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, and friends also survive.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Nathan Thomason officiated with burial following in Morris Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Peyton, Cody, Corey, Andrew and Braxton Atnip, Ethan and Victor Roller and Heath Mabe.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
