Funeral services for Jack Wayne Hale, 77, of Alexandria were held June 7 at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home.

 

Bro. Shannon Cantrell and Bro. BJ Thomason officiated with burial following in Hillview Cemetery.

 

He was born December 30, 1937 in DeKalb County to his parents, LV Hale and Belvie Herman Hale.

 

He passed away June 5 at his residence.

 

He was a carpenter and affiliated with New Middleton Baptist Church.

 

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Aundra Hale of Alexandria; children, Carmellia Ingram of Brush Creek, Jerome (Tammy) Hale of Lebanon, Jeremy Hale of Newberry Springs, CA., and Audrenia (Danny) Baker of Gordonsville; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Inez Malone, Francis Willete Hale, and Betty Lou Clayborn all of Alexandria.

 

He was proceeded in death by his parents; sisters, Maureen Scott, Elizabeth Scott, Ofallon Malone; brothers, James Hale, and Kenneth Hale.

 

Honorary Pallbearers included; Brandon Ingram, Brody Ingram, Branger Ingram, Mathew Hale, Reece Enoch, and Campbell Baker.

 

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association in his memory.

 

Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria was in charge of the arrangements
