Funeral services for Harold Adcock, 81, of Smithville were held Feb. 1 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Eugene Adkins and Bro. Phillip Adcock officiated with burial following at Corinth Cemetery.
Mr. Adcock passed away in the early morning of Jan. 30 at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was a nurseryman and owner of Harold Adcock and Sons Nursery and was affiliated with Keltonburg Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents Obie and Effie Mae Adcock.
Survivors include his two sons Larry (Loretta) Adcock of Smithville and Douglas Adcock of Murfreesboro; two grandchildren Michael Adcock and Anthony Adcock of Smithville; one great-grandchild Jonathon Adcock of Smithville; one great-great-grandchild Peyton Adcock of Smithville; a brother Earl (Doris) Adcock of Smithville; and a sister Orthana Young of Smithville.
Pallbearers included Dean, Billy and Clayton Adcock, Richard Steinbach, Glenn Young and Jack Green.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville,  was in charge of the arrangements.
