Hibdon

Hazel Cantrell Hibdon, 101, of Smithville died Thursday at her residence.

She was a retired nurse from Knowles Hospital, and a member of the Banks Cumberland Presbyterian Church since 1935.

The funeral was Sunday at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Greg Whaley officiated with burial following in the Banks Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luster and Mattie Bain Cantrell; a sister, Alice Davis; three brothers, Bill, Earnest, and Everitt Cantrell.

Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Mullinax of Smithville and Nina and James Moss of Virginia. Three sons, Jerry and Windy Hibdon of Pulaski, Freddy and Sue Hibdon of Rockvale, and J.L. and Vickie Hibdon of Mount Juliet. One sister, Cecil Williams of Smithville. Eleven grandchildren, six step grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Pallberers included: Jeff, Todd, Chad, Dustin, and Tim Hibdon, and Stan Moss.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, was in charge of the arrangements.
