Funeral services for Hazel Inez Redman Cantrell, 88, of Evansville, Ind., were held Dec. 26 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Interment was held at Whorton Springs Cemetery.   
Mrs. Cantrell passed away Dec. 21 at her daughter’s residence.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rassie and Ida Young Redman; husband, Solon Cantrell; grandson, Jeffrey Ashley; 12 siblings; several nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her four children, Michael (Flossie) Cantrell, Sherry (Charlie) Hiatt, Sandara (Alan) Ault and Carlyon (Ronald) Marshall; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
