Funeral services for Hazel Lee Felts, 86, of the Johnson’s Chapel Community were held Jan. 4 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.

Bro. Tim Judd officiated, with burial following in Plainview Cemetery in White County.

She passed away Jan. 2 at her residence.

She was retired from BJ Apparel, attended Johnson’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, and was a loving wife, mother and granny.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. Felts; parents, Harvey and Kathryn Elrod Harris; son, Charles Felts; daughter-in-law, Geraldine Felts; three grandchildren, Charles Jr. and Chris Felts, and Ty Bohannon; brother, Darnell Harris; three sisters, Alvaree Holland, Louise Henderson, and Donvall Puckett.

She is survived by one daughter, Debbie and Lonnie Hitchcock of Sparta; one son, Harvey and Glenda Felts of Smithville; three grandchildren, Melody and Tim Anderson of Smithville, Lindsay and Todd Hasty of Sparta and Brandon Bohannon of Sparta; three great-grandchildren, Macy and Justin Nokes of Smithville, Dakota Dexter of Murfreesboro and Savannah Dexter of Cookeville.

Pallbearers included; Justin Nokes, Jim Adcock, Kenneth Rice, Lamar Zeek, Rex Pedigo, and Dwight Adcock.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.
