Ms. Helen Perry LaFever, age 77, of Sparta passed away Friday morning, November 25, 2022 at the Woodbury Health & Rehab Center.
Ms. LaFever was born on February 2, 1945 in Woodbury to her parents, the late Johnny C. and Ethel Bell Perry. Her husband, UL LaFever also precedes her in death.
She was retired as the Co-Owner of Center Hill Sports Marine and was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Eugene LaFever of Sparta; granddaughter, Sahara “Sarabeth” LaFever of Sparta; sister, Sue (Jimmy) Bryson of Old Hickory; sister-in-law, Louisa (Jack) Phelps of Nashville; a brother-in-law, Calvin LaFever (Merle Sandlin) of Smithville; niece and nephew, Amy (Jeff) Smith and Charles (Kelly) Bryson.
Funeral service was held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Tim Bumbalough officiated and burial was in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Nelson Davis, Jamie Turner, Zach Roberts, Tyler Morton, Charles Bryson, and Dewain Luna.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
