Graveside services for Henry Glenn Grizzle,78, of Murfreesboro was held June 14 at the Hale Cemetery in the Pea Ridge Community. Bro. Leonard Herman officiated.
Mr. Grizzle passed away June 10. A native of Liberty, he was the son of the late Homer Ray and Minnie Ann Grizzle.
Mr. Grizzle was a kind, gentle, loving, and strong son, husband, father, grandfather, and individual. He enjoyed dancing and skating in his youth and constantly being outdoors with nature and animals.
His determination in the face of hardship and his love of life, family and friends were an inspiration to all. He was a member of the Masons of Tennessee and he retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority as a heavy equipment superintendent.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Parker Grizzle; three brothers, Clifton, Albert and James Hoyte Grizzle.
Mr. Grizzle is survived by his son, Scotty (Sarah) Grizzle of Woodbury; daughter, Glenna Davis of nashville; sister, Elizabeth McGee; grandchildren, Hunter, Dallas, Slade and Sadey Grizzle and Parker Davis; many nieces and nephews also survive.
Woodbury Funeral Home, Woodbury, was in charge of arrangements.
