Henry Nagy, age 89, died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at his daughter’s house in Florida.

Henry has been a member of the White County and DeKalb County communities since 1972, where he worked mostly as an electrician and maintenance man.

He was also an active member of both the Sparta and Smithville Congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Clara Nagy; his parents, and two older siblings.

He is survived by his four children, Leona (David) Gabrielli, Tom (Shanna) Nagy, Alice (Steve) Gay, and Anthony (Elaine) Nagy. Also by one grandson, Joshua Dayton and two younger siblings, Eva & Leslie, and various nieces and nephews.

He was a funny, kind, and generous man who never met a stranger, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorial services will be held at the Sparta, TN Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 1:30 pm. All are welcome.
