Funeral services for Hilda Bogle, 71, of Smithville, were held Feb. 4 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bobby Thomason officiated with burial following in Center Hill Cemetery.   
Ms. Bogle passed away Feb. 1 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville.  She was a Baptist and a machine operator at Smithville Shirt Factory
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Octa Lee Murphy Mathis; infant son, Johnny Gayle Farless; grandchildren, Mitchell and Sharon Farless; brothers, Robert Mathis, Jr and Edward Murphy; sisters, Scaple Simpson, Violet Simmons and Dorothy Lawson.
Survivors include son, Ronnie Farless and companion Cynthia Murphy of Smithville; daughters, Renee and Brad Marsh of McMinnville, Patricia and Landon Mathis of Smithville; grandchildren, Waylon Farless, Amanda Lattimore Marsh and Crystal Farless of Smithville  and Aderena Marsh of McMinville; great-grandchildren, Johnny and Montana Farless of Smithville; and special friends, Terry Evelyn Lawson of Watertown.
Pallbearers included Clifford Lawson, Terry Lawson, Nick Lawson, Johnny Farless, Brad Marsh and Jeff Rowland.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
