Funeral services for Billie Ruth Hooper, 84, of Smithville were held Nov. 23 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.

 

Bro. David Mahan officiated, with burial following in the Whorton Springs Cemetery.

 

She passed away on Nov. 21 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

 

She was a Baptist.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Clifford and Ocie Lee Pinegar Webb; husband, Harry Hooper.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda and Henry Roberson, and Kathy and David Hendrixson; one son, Tommy Hooper, all of Smithville; three grandchildren, Sondja McLaughin of Smithville; Christy and Mark Steel of Cookeville; Gregory and Kayla Hooper of Dibrell; five great-grandchildren, Jackyne McLaughin, and Mylee Markum both of Smithville, Anna Lynn Steel of Cookeville, Cloe and Lexi Hooper both of Dibrell; brother and sisters-in-law; Jack and Marlys Hooper of California, T.M. and Juanita Hooper and Billy and Mary Jane Hooper all of Smithville.

 

Pallbearers included; Doug and Jeff Hooper, James Lee Johnson, Chad Kirby, Brad Melton, and David Scott.

 

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville was in charge of the arrangements
