Inez Malone Anderson, age 87, of Alexandria passed away Thursday August 13, 2020 at the Lebanon Health Rehabilitation Center in Lebanon. 

 She was born December 10, 1932 to her parents, the late Vernon and Belvie Mae Herman Hale.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by by her husband, Joe Robert Anderson; son: Billy Malone; three sisters, Offalon Malone, Elizabeth Scott, Maurine Scott; three brothers,  James Hale, Jack Hale and infant brother Kenneth Hale.  

 Ms. Inez was retired from Hartman Luggage and Sunset Restaurant, a member of New Hope Baptist Church and attended Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. 

 Survivors include son, Howard (Gail) Malone of Alexandria; grandchildren, Christie (Joe) Smith, Tara Stacey, Travis Malone; great-grandchildren, Tyler (Destiny) Malone, Tatum (Billy) Carpenter, Talan Gentry; sisters, Willette Hale of Liberty, Betty (Charles) Clayborn of Alexandria. Several nieces and nephews also survive. 

 Funeral service was held Sunday, Aug. 16 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating. Burial followed in the Hillview Cemetery. 

 Pallbearers included Tyler Malone, Joe Smith, Billy Carpenter, Bobby Hale, Mike Hale, and Eddie Clayborn.

 The family asked that donations be made to the charity of your choice. 

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
