Jack H. Curtis, 84, of El Segundo, Calif., passed away Dec. 28, 2012 at the Little Company of Mary Transitional Care in Terrance, Calif. He was born Oct. 24, 1928 to the late Wesley and Hettie Curtis of Dowelltown. He was a graduate of Liberty High School and attended Tennessee Tech. Jack was a veteran of the Korean War.
He retired from Chevron in 1986. He was a member of Dowelltown United Methodist Church.
Jack was preceeded in death by a daughter, Jacqueline Curtis; a grandson, Chad Curtis; three sisters; and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Allie Inez Curtis of El Segundo, Calif.; a son Joseph Micheal Curtis & wife Deborah of Park City, Utah; a sister, Perrie Jane Mathis of Shelbyville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews in Tennessee and Florida.
Per his request he was cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
