Funeral services for James Felix Waggoner, 55, of Smithville, were held March 5 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Taylor officiating.
Mr. Waggoner passed away March 3 at his residence. He worked for Simpson Construction and was affiliated with Johnson’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Felix and Opal Odell Petty Waggoner.
Survivors include wife of 36 years, Sherian Waggoner of Smithville; three daughters, Sherry (Bobby) Maxwell, Sarah (Anthony) Cross, both of Sparta, and Shelly (Jonathan) Womack of McMinnville; a son, Jamie (Miranda) Waggoner of Smithville; a brother, Jesse (Rita) Waggoner of Carthage; three sisters, Dorothy (Harold) Bratcher and Opal (Danny) Parker, both of Smithville and Judy Waggoner of Carthage; 12 grandchildren, Dakota, Darren, Lilly, Ben, Ariel, Dee Dee, Alora, Damian, (Bo Bo), Will, Martin, Chalee and Jon Collin; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
