James Lewis "Jimmy" Todd, age 74, of Smithville passed away Monday morning, February 1, 2021 at AHC Cumberland in Nashville. 

 He was born February 4, 1946 to his parents, the late Lewis James and Dounie Roberts Todd.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Demetria Todd. 

 Jimmy was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Vietnam. 

 He is survived by his wife, Donna Todd of Smithville; two daughters, Amy (Rigo) Ruiz of Smyrna and Brandy Todd of Smyrna; one grandson, Cody Crutcher. 

 The family has honored his request to be cremated and no services are planned. 

 In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donation be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, in memory of Jimmy.  

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
