Funeral services for James Milton Preston, 91, of Woodbury, were held May 21 at Woodland Baptist Church. Bro. Greg Mitchell and Bro. John Robinson officiated with burial following in Amity Cemetery.    
Mr. Preston passed away May 18 at NHC of Smithville. He was a deacon at Woodland Baptist Church and a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. He was also a farmer and worked in construction.    
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hervey Preston and Verna Griffith Preston; two grandchildren, Jimmy Preston and Virginia Preston; and a sister, Margaret Gilley.
Survivors include his wife of 65 and a half years, Margaret Inglis Preston of Woodbury; children, Regina (Wayne) Pack and Helen Preston, both of Smithville, David (Jackie) Preston of Beech Grove, Russell (Kay) Preston of Manchester, Charles (Kathy) Preston, Terry Preston and Donald Preston, all of Woodbury; a brother, Harry Martin Preston of Crossville; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Woodbury Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
