Funeral services for James Riley Fisher, 81, of Smithville, were held March 11 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bobby Thomason officiated with burial following in Banks Cemetery with full military honors.   
Mr. Fisher passed away March 9 at NHC of Smithville. He was a Korean War Army veteran, a carpenter with TVA for 15 years, a member of the VFW and the American Legion and was of the Baptist faith. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Fish; mother, Alice Fish; and grandmother, Maggie Fish.
Survivors include his three step-daughters, Janice Fish and David Stewart, Tanna and Tony Harris and Judy Carol Fish; a step-son, Danny and Regina Fish, all of Smithville; and eight step-grandchildren, Danny Fish of Ky., D.J. Stewart, Joseph Clark, Brian Clark, Crystal Fish and Paula Farris, all of Smithville, Brandi Bennett of Seattle and Kayla Fish of Johnson City.
Pallbearers included Joseph Clark, David and D.J. Stewart, Bobby Reeder, Tim and Charles Fish and Brian Clark.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
