Mrs. Janie Frances Cantrell, age 88, of McMinnville died Thursday, September 6, 2018, at her residence. She was born August 18, 1930, in McMinnville, was a homemaker and a member of Earleyville Church of Christ. Mrs. Cantrell was preceded in death by parents Johnny Firm and Nora Mae Griffin Turner, husband Glen Cantrell, sisters Earlene Nicks, Hazel Stevens, and Anita Brown, brothers Charles, Wayne, Bud, and Eugene Turner, and son-in-law Kenneth Campbell.Survivors include her children Phyllis (Larry) Stanley, Janell (Harold) Tobitt, Glenna Campbell, John (Vicki) Cantrell, and Kenneth Cantrell, sisters Joyce Griffin and Karen Mathis, and brother Doug (Patsy) Turner. Seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.A graveside service and interment was conducted Friday, September 07, 2018, at Fuston Cemetery. Brian Whitlock and Jason Montandon officiated. McMinnville Funeral Home, McMinnville, was in charge of arrangements.
