Brown

J.B. Brown, age 82, of Celina passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at his residence.

J.B. was preceded in death by his parents, Enoch Hickman and Nellie Nannie Brown; brother, Willard Brown; sister, Anna Belle Ramsey; sons, John Rickey, Lonnie Lee, Roscoe Jaye and Carl Freeman Brown; daughters, Jean Marie McCormick and Judy Brown; wife Margie Hammock Brown; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Allen Brown.

Survivors include companion, Christine Brewer; sons, Glen and Vonda Brown, Hoss and Holly Brown, Curtis Brown and David Bruce Brown; and a step-son, Jimmy Brewer. Daughter, Dorothy and Gary Sanders; step-daughter, Melissa and Kenneth Estep; brother, Freeman Brown; sisters, Emmaline Chaffin, Betty Bryant, Bobbie and Jess Ledbetter, Jewel and Doyle Bilbrey, and Janie and Lonnie Shoemake. Eighteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Three special friends, Charlie Copeland, James Grub (Grubworm) and Fred Emmerton along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

A graveside service was held Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the Old Union Cemetery in Hilham, TN.

Serving as pallbearers were Cody Johnson, Dustin Brown, J.W. Brown, Jimmy Brown, Richard Brown and Tyler Estep.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
