Funeral services for Ms. Jean Haley, 93, of the Keltonburg Community  were held at chapel of Dekalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Mike Neal officiated with burial following at Keltonburg Cemetery.
She passed away April 20 at NHC of Smithville.
She was retired from various jobs, but she most enjoyed her work as an Avon representative and a homemaker.
She was a member of the Keltonburg United Methodist Church, where she served as secretary and treasurer for many years. She was an active member of the former Keltonburg Home Demonstration Club and the Keltonburg Community Center, and enjoyed feeding the birds and growing flowers.
She was born April 22, 1920 to the late Thomas (Red Eye) and Della Miller Cantrell. On September 14, 1942 she married Columbus Haley and they lived happily until he preceded her in death in 1997.
She was one of eleven siblings, all who preceded her in death; Helen, Fred, Aubrey, James T., Frank (Chick) and Nell Cantrell, Shelby Cripps, Lelia Mai Rigsby, Mattie Lea Stoner, and Cartie Patton.
She is survived by four generations of family who loved her; one son, Eugene (Diane) Haley; two grandaughters; Gina (Dennis) Arnold and Chandra (Joe) Adcock; seven great-grandchildren, Kealah Curtis, Adam Jordon, Bryson and Sam Arnold and Shara Adcock all of Smithville, and Clark Adcock of Martin; one great-great grandson, Gauge Pack of Smithville; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel  Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
