Funeral services for Jean Taylor of Smithville, 64, were held Nov. 8, at the chapel of DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Tim Woodward and Dan Gulley officiated with burial to follow at Burton-Ponder Cemetery. She was the daughter of Loyd and Ruth Sutton Maxwell.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna Taylor, and granddaughter, Olivia Grace Taylor.She was a member of the Smithville Church of Christ and a 911 Dispatcher.She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Wayne Taylor of Smithville; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Cindy Taylor of Smithville; three granddaughters, Shauna, Abbi and Kenlee Taylor; two brothers, Terry and Teresa Maxwell of Smithville and Buzzy Maxwell of Florida; brother-in-laws, Eddie and Cynthia Taylor and Jeff and Brenda Taylor all of Smithville; several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers; Jason Pelham, David Taylor, Chad Harris, Chris Key, Rob Maxwell, Christopher Maynard and Zackary Maxwell.DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.SMITHVILLE REVIEWSmithville, TNNovember 13, 2013
