Jesus Antonio Rosas, age 22 of Smithville, passed away Tuesday evening, June 25, 2019 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. 

 He was born August 30, 1996 in Deland, FL.  He was a Catholic and construction worker. 

He is survived by his mother, Juana Zapien of Smithville;  two sisters, Christian Rosas of Gallatin and Valeria Zapien of Smithville; one brother, Angel Zapien of Smithville; one nephew, Diego Bravo of Gallatin; several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Funeral service was conducted Friday, June 28, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Father Chris James officiating. Burial followed at DeKalb Cemetery. 

Family served as pallbearers.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
