Jim Campbell, 83, of Dowelltown died Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Webb House Retirement Center.

 

He was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church and retired owner and operator of Campbell Construction Company.

 

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at the Gordonsville Cemetery. Dave Carden will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at which time the body will be taken to the cemetery for the graveside service.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Monroe and Ollie Parks Campbell; his wife, Ova Lorene House Campbell, and son James Phillip Campbell.

 

Survivors include a son, Scott Campbell and fiancé Angie Fuston of Dowelltown. Four grandchildren, Alex and Marley Campbell of Smithville, Payton Campbell of Cookeville, and Ashton Campbell and Trey Fuston of Smithville. Two great grandchildren, Karly and Ava Campbell of Smithville. A sister, Zadie Wall of Mississippi. 3 Sisters-in-law: Drucy Mai Midgett of Smithville, Mary Louise House of Smithville, Haley Jewel House of Dowelltown 3 Brothers-in-law: Billy Freeman House and wife Susan, of Dowelltown, Leland Carter House and wife Sue of Alexandria, Douglas Patton House and wife Dinah of Alexandria. Several nieces and nephews Special caretaker, Barbara Nayola of Smithville.

 

Special thanks to the Webb House and the loving staff for their exceptional care.

 

Pallbearers included; Scott Campbell, Alex Campbell, Payton Campbell, Ashton Campbell, Trey Fuston, PeeWee Adams, and Billy House.
