Mr. Jimmie Andrew Beshears, age 94, of Smithville passed away Tuesday night at NHC Healthcare in Smithville.
He was an Army veteran and served in the Korean war. Jimmie was a lifelong farmer and a Baptist.
He was born to the late Lonnie Void & Ophia Waggoner Beshears on May 17, 1928 in Smithville. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Bobbie Jewell Murphy and two brothers, Eugene & Jr. Beshears.
Survivors are his loving wife of 68 years Louise Stewart Beshears of Smithville,; one brother, Don (Norma) Beshears of Ashland City; three nephews, Kenny (Alesia) Beshears of Burns, Shannon (Diane) Beshears of Pegram, Barry (Amy) Beshears of Smyrna; one niece, Wanda Taylor of Hendersonville and sister-in-law, Patricia Hibdon Beshears of Smithville.
Funeral service was held Friday, December 2, 2022 at 1 pm in the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home with Bro. Leonard Herman will be officiating. Burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers included Deloy Kirby, Barry, Shannon, Kenny, Cole and Noah Beshears.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
