Jimmie Gene London, 93, of Cookeville passed away Monday evening October 17, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 10, 1929 in Whitwell, TN to the late James Samuel London and Ruby Elizabeth Duke London.
Jim was an insurance adjuster and he co-owned Cookeville Marine and Smithville Marine. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Emaline London; daughter, Vicki Vickers; and sister, Doris Hudson.
He is survived by daughters, Jill (Gary) Flatt of Cookeville and Sharon (George) Simmons of Signal Mountain, TN; son, Steve (Debbie) London of Smithville; son-in-law, Cleston Vickers of Cookeville; sister, Billie Faye Parks of Monteagle, TN; grandchildren, Jeff (Dana) London, Danielle (Brett) Flowers, Christy Vickers, Andy Simmons and Kelly (Andy) Beck; great grandchildren, Eli Flowers, Caleb London (Libby LaFever), Courtney London, Piper Beck and Griffin Beck; and by great-great grandson, Jonah London.
Funeral service was held Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Jeff London officiated with interment following in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Brett Flowers, Caleb London, Cleston Vickers, Jeff London, Andy Simmons, Andy Beck and Griffin Beck.
Special appreciation to Danielle Flowers, granddaughter, for the caregiving she provided to her Nana and Papa, Jim and Emaline.
