Jimmy Dale Hale, age 74, of the Keltonburg Community of DeKalb County went home to be with the Lord on Friday afternoon, July 4, 2025 at St. Thomas West Hospital.
He was a member of New Union The Baptist Church and a retired manufacturing plant worker. In High School, Jimmy was an outstanding basketball player.
He was born October 14, 1950 to his parents, the late Howard and Samanth Jones Hale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jacque Hale, two brothers, Carl Hale and Harold Hale and one brother-in-law, Joe I. Taylor.
He is survived by two children, Tyson Scott (Chasity) Hale of Smithville and Audrey Leighton Adams of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Andrew Blake Hale, Micah Nichole Hale, Olivia Mae Adams and Charlotte James Adams; one sister, Helen (Jim) Cook of Liberty; sister-in-law, Barbara Hale of McMinnville.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial followed in New Union Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Tyson Hale, Blake Hale, Austin Hosse, Kamus Sexton, Shannon Pollard, and Chad Cantrell.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
