“Pop” Jimmy taught us to put God first – always, love, be kind and to always find the humor in everything.  The glass is always half full and these things that occur in this life are all “part of the journey”.

Jimmy graduated from Loretto High School in 1962. He served in the Marine Corps Reserve for 6 years and worked at TRW in Lebanon for many years where he later retired.

He was a faithful member of Dry Creek Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Sunday school teacher and choir member.  Throughout the years, he also served on various committees within the church, and for many years was in charge of managing the food services for the Wednesday night meals.  He dearly loved his family, church family and friends.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020 at Dry Creek Baptist Church. Bro. Donald Owens officiated with burial following in the nearby Frazier Cemetery.
