Funeral services for Jo Ann “Mama Jo” Robinson, 79, of Smithville were held December 20 at the Chapel of DeKalb Funeral Chapel.

 

Bro. Joel Wood, Clark Lance, and Kristopher Wood officiated with burial following in Bonham Cemetery.

 

She passed away December 17 at her residence.

 

She was born February 20, 1936 to her parents, the late Kise and Pauline Bennett Kelly.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Robinson; brother, Troy Kelly.

 

Ms. Jo was a member of the Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church, a retired shirt factory worker and a homemaker.

 

She is survived by three children, Gloria (Steve) Losie of Cumming, GA, Tammy (Charles) Lowe of Smithville, Beckie (Richard) Werpecinisky of Smithville; seven grandchildren, Charity Rodriquez, Kristopher Robinson, Chris (Rachel) Lowe, Jamie Werpecinisky, Downing Burke, Jonah Burke, and Briley Werpecinisky; several great-grandchildren also survive.

 

Pallbearers included; John Evans, Johnathan Puckett, Donnie Pedigo, Aaron Young, Mark Burke, and David Fox.

 

Honorary Pallbearers included; Wayne Jared, Earl Anderson, Alfred Pedigo, and Robert Yandell.

 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.
